Iris Instruments
Resistivity and Induced Polarization instruments
Rentals
SGS offers a variety of resistivity and induced polarization (IP) equipment rentals to support your geophysical surveys:
Syscal Elec Terra 96
The most advanced IP and resistivity system in its class. 20-channel receiver engineered for maximum productivity and accuracy. It features a touch screen, automatic full-waveform recording, and rapid IP acquisition.
Syscal Pro 96
Rugged all-in-one resistivity and IP system. 10-channel receiver for simultaneous measurements, making it one of the most cable instruments in its class.
Iris Full-Waver
Truly state-of-the-art, the V-FullWaver is built for high-precision resistivity and IP measurements in challenging field conditions. This multi-device unit features an internal power source and GPS synchronization, making it ideal for seamless 3D deployments.
Syscal R1 Plus
Compact and powerful resistivity and IP meter built for medium-depth exploration. dual channel receiver designed for intensive field use.
TIP 6000
Powerful and precise, the TIP 6000 is a 6 kW current-regulated transmitter built for deep resistivity and IP surveys in the most demanding environments. When paired with V-FullWaver or Elrec receivers, it becomes the go-to solution for high-resolution mineral exploration.
SGS offers the following accessories as part of any instrument rental
Cables (multicore or single core)
Stainless steel electrodes with cord clips
Transportation case(s)
Data management software (Prosys)
Array design software (Electre Pro)
Full-Waver survey design software
Data processing / inversion software
Remote control software (for imaging applications)

Sales
Syscal Terra
The Syscal Terra Switch is the new generation of resistivity & IP surveying system. It mixes recent electronics advances with the standards of resistivity meters designed by IRIS Instruments for more than 30 years
Syscal Monitoring Unit
The Syscal Monitoring Unit (SMU) is an automated system that lets users remotely monitor and manage Syscal Pro survey operations — switching between external power sources when idle, programming acquisition schedules, and sending alerts.
Syscal Multi-Tx
The Syscal Multi-TX is a resistivity & induced polarization system with three 250 W transmitters and six reception channels, using CDMA-coded currents so one injection yields 18 measurements with Pro/R1-level accuracy
Syscal Pro
The Syscal Pro Switch is an all-in-one multinode resistivity and induce polarization imaging system for environmental and engineering geophysical studies.
Syscal Converter
The Converter from IRIS Instruments offers a 250 W DC/DC unit (12 V battery) or a 1200 W AC/DC unit (2.2 kVA generator), both with selectable outputs up to 800 V.
Syscal R2
The Syscal R2 is designed for deep resistivity and induced polarization investigations, the Syscal R2 is a high-power system that combines rugged field performance with the accuracy and reliability of the Syscal range.
Syscal R1+
The Syscal R1 plus resistivity meter is specifically designed for medium-depth exploration.
Syscal Pro Deep Marine
TThe Syscal Pro Deep Marine is a marine-resistivity profiler with 10 simultaneous reception channels, designed for highly conductive water (e.g. salt water) and capable of recording 10 depth‐levels in about every 2 seconds.
Syscal WiConnect
The WiConnect lets you wirelessly control and monitor Syscal or Elrec devices from a tablet, smartphone, or laptop — start, stop, pause acquisitions; view resistivity, voltage, current, battery, quality metrics, etc., in real time.
Syscal Kid
Specifically designed for very shallow, high resolution resistivity sounding and profiling, Syscal Kid Switch is the most compact of the Syscal range whilst retaining the well-known reliability and measurement accuracy of its bigger siblings.
Syscal Junior
The Syscal Junio a compact resistivity & induced polarization sounding/profiling unit designed for environmental geophysics, offering two simultaneous reception channels and automatic current-adjustment
